Barn foundation rocks with me in the background, Wayne R. McKinney. In 1998 I was 51. My great uncle Harry took me to the location when I was a little boy. I remember it being much more open, more like a meadow. My dad gave him hell, worried that I might have fallen down an old well.

Article from the Cecil Whig the summer we cleaned 7 pickup loads of debris from the McKinney cemetery on McKinneytown Rd. Wayne McKinney, Darren McKinney, Michael McKinney, and a CCHS volunteer did the hard work. A new chain link fence was constructed with the last funds from the McKinney reunion, and gifts from Helen McKinney, and Harry McKinney, Jr.

Spring behind and to the right of where the large foundations rocks show where the barn was. The barn was likely two story, with the animals on the lower level with entrance at the back, since the land was sloping downward towards the spring.

The house of the current property owner. He said that he often finds bricks from the original chimney of the old farmhouse, and broken pieces of china when digging on the property. I have one of the bricks that he gave me.
